ABOUT
Founded in 2018 in Ottawa, ON, “Drip N’ Paint” has become more than just your regular paint & sip classes.
Guided by founder, Dorothé Kanku, a graduate in 2D animation, a painter, entrepreneur, and anime enthusiast, with her step-by-step beginner friendly guidance, energetic and outgoing personality, and her love for the art world, she has created “Drip N’ Paint” to create a safe space for creative expression, networking, but most of all; in support of mental health. Growing up facing many mental health challenges of her own, painting has been an outlet for her to express herself & also cope with depression or anxiety.
As a result, her main goal has been to give others an outlet to express their emotions with a paint brush to say the words they can’t say, & hopefully add a bit more joy & laughter to their lives at the same time.
